Kurak Castle Siege Guide – Conqueror’s Blade

General Overview:
Kurak Castle is a classic uphill siege map with tight choke points and deadly artillery positions. Attackers must push from a lowland staging area through multiple layers of defense into a heavily fortified central keep. This map rewards coordination and strong unit compositions.
Key Features:
- Two initial siege tower lanes (Left and Right)
- Mid wall gate with a narrow bridge approach
- Multiple Wall ways
- Two supply points before final base
- Final capture zone inside a keep with staircases and inner courtyard
- Chocke Points | Holding / Push Points (non wall)
Attacker Strategy:
- Siege Phase:
- Push siege towers ASAP; right tower usually safer but longer path.
- Put Anti Cav into the main gate, stop sally before it happens
- Ladder placement on the far sides can provide early access and split pressure.
- Wall Control:
- Once towers land, focus on clearing walls from one side—left usually offers better control over central gate.
- Go Sneak B cap if you can to split enemy forces.
- If you can, use heavy AOE units or quick range to clear middle gate.
- Gate Breach and Supply Control:
- After wall control, rush B and supplies -> Onto Walls
- Use supply to rotate in key units | Depending on your team choice, you will go over the walls or supply push.
- Secure flanks with anti cav before moving into final base.
- Final Push:
- Split push up staircases or send a rotation around the outer path.
- Shield units lead, range follows and cav breaks the defense line.
- Don’t stack mid—flank pressure is key.
Defender Strategy:
- Wall Defense:
- Roam around the walls and kick ladders / kill climbing heroes
- In normal cases, you abandon A and go straight for end cap, in case you defend A take rush units and try to counter push the enemy whenever they gather for a push on the walls towards middle gate roof
- Final Hold:
- Layered defense on stairs—use terrain to stagger enemy push.
- Rotate between top and courtyard to deny foothold.
- Use cav whenever enemy is pushing the end cap and flank
- Use AOE range whenver enemy is trying to stack
Common Mistakes:
- Attackers not securing both sides of the wall—allowing flank reinforcements.
- Defenders overextending on outer walls.
- Not reinforcing stair flanks in final base.
Recommended Units:
- Attack: Iron Reapers, Sparta, Hawarang Archers, Canons/Falcos lot of cav for already ongoing pushes
- Defense: Shenji Grenadiers, Anti cav, canons, quick infantry, tons of cav
Tips:
- Don’t rush mid—Kurak punishes direct assaults. Use trebs and pressure multiple angles.
- Rotate fast and coordinate wall breaches to split defender attention.
- Defenders should always be thinking about the next fallback line. Don’t get wiped.
